Privacy Policy

How TelePRO handles website, app, Firebase, analytics, ATT consent, purchase, support, and media-processing data.

Overview

TelePRO provides free website tools for creators and a mobile teleprompter app for recording, script help, captions, and video export. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

The website calculators are designed to run in your browser. Text you paste into tools such as the word counter or speaking-time calculators is not uploaded to TelePRO servers by those tools.

Controller and scope

TelePRO is the controller of personal information processed for the website, app, support, analytics, purchase entitlement, and product operation described in this policy. You can contact us at support@telepro.app.

Third-party app stores, operating systems, payment providers, cloud providers, AI providers, and device manufacturers may process information under their own privacy policies when you use their services with TelePRO.

Information we may collect

  • Contact information you send to us, such as your email address and the contents of support messages.
  • App usage, diagnostic, crash, performance, device, operating-system, app-version, event, and navigation information used to keep TelePRO reliable and understand which features need improvement.
  • Identifiers needed to operate services, such as Firebase installation IDs, analytics app instance IDs, RevenueCat app user IDs, purchase identifiers, crash report identifiers, and device or vendor identifiers where permitted.
  • Purchase history, subscription status, entitlement status, trial status, renewal status, and refund or cancellation signals received from app stores or payment infrastructure. We do not receive your full card details from Apple, Google, or similar payment processors.
  • Scripts, recordings, captions, project metadata, and export settings you create in the app, when needed to provide app features you choose to use.
  • Device permissions and device-provided media access, such as camera, microphone, speech recognition, files, or photos, only when you grant those permissions.

Firebase and Google services

TelePRO uses Firebase and Google services to operate and improve the app and website. These may include Firebase Hosting, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Cloud Functions, Firebase AI, Firebase App Check or similar app-integrity protections, and related Google Cloud infrastructure.

Firebase Analytics helps measure app events, screens, feature usage, acquisition, and aggregate performance. Crashlytics helps diagnose crashes and errors. Remote Config helps deliver configuration values such as onboarding, paywall, feature, caption, and model settings. Cloud Functions and Firebase AI may process content when you choose cloud-backed features such as Script Agent, caption model selection, or video/audio processing.

Depending on the service, Google may process data such as Firebase installation IDs, analytics identifiers, IP addresses, crash traces, device and OS information, app version, event parameters, performance signals, and uploaded content needed for a feature you request.

Analytics, advertising, and ATT consent

We use analytics to understand whether core flows work, which features are used, and where crashes or performance problems occur. We do not use website calculator input as analytics payload.

On iOS, if TelePRO uses data in a way Apple defines as tracking across apps or websites owned by other companies, the app will request permission through Apple App Tracking Transparency before enabling that tracking. If you deny permission, TelePRO will not access the IDFA for tracking and will not use your data for Apple-defined tracking that requires ATT consent.

You can also control advertising identifiers and tracking permissions in iOS, iPadOS, Android, and store account settings. Analytics and crash reporting may still operate for app reliability, security, and aggregate product measurement where permitted by law and platform rules.

Payments and RevenueCat

TelePRO uses RevenueCat and app-store billing systems to manage purchases, subscriptions, trials, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and premium entitlements. RevenueCat may process purchase history, product identifiers, subscription status, app user identifiers, store transaction data, country or region, device information, and diagnostic information needed to provide purchase infrastructure.

Apple, Google, or another store processes your payment method directly. We rely on the store and RevenueCat to tell TelePRO whether your subscription or lifetime purchase is active.

AI, speech, and video processing

Some TelePRO features may use speech recognition, Script Agent assistance, caption generation, audio cleanup, background tools, eye-contact correction, or other processing. Depending on the feature and platform, processing may happen on your device or through trusted service providers.

When you choose a feature that requires cloud processing, the content needed for that feature may be transmitted and processed to deliver the requested result. Do not submit content you do not have permission to process.

How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, secure, and improve TelePRO.
  • Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues.
  • Process purchases, subscriptions, entitlements, trials, and refunds through the relevant app store or payment provider.
  • Generate scripts, captions, exports, or other results requested by you.
  • Measure aggregate feature usage and diagnose crashes or performance problems.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and misuse of paid features or processing infrastructure.

Legal bases for EEA and UK users

  • Contract: to provide the app, website tools, purchases, subscriptions, support, requested AI or media processing, and related account or entitlement features.
  • Consent: where required for optional permissions, marketing, cookies, analytics, ATT-covered tracking, or other optional processing.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure, debug, analyze, maintain, and improve TelePRO, prevent abuse, understand aggregate usage, and respond to support where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligations: to comply with tax, accounting, consumer protection, lawful requests, dispute, and regulatory obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate TelePRO, including Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Cloud Functions, Firebase AI or other AI providers, RevenueCat, Apple, Google Play, hosting, email, analytics, crash reporting, payment entitlement, speech, video processing, and support tools. These providers are authorized to use information only as needed to provide their services to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

International transfers

TelePRO and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar transfer rules apply, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, provider data-processing terms, adequacy decisions, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law, dispute resolution, security, or accounting needs. Local files and projects stored on your device remain under your control through the app and operating system.

Cookies and local storage

The website may use cookies, local storage, CDN logs, analytics tags, search verification tags, and similar technologies for security, hosting, performance, analytics, preferences, and search indexing. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work as expected if storage is blocked.

Your choices and privacy rights

  • You can deny or revoke device permissions in your operating-system settings.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions through the App Store, Google Play, or the store where you purchased.
  • You can control ATT tracking permission, advertising identifiers, analytics personalization, and similar device settings through your operating system or store account where available.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or a copy of information we hold about you.
  • EEA and UK users also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. We will respond to privacy requests within the time required by applicable law, generally within one month for GDPR requests unless an extension is permitted.
  • You can contact support@telepro.app to exercise privacy rights or ask privacy questions. We may need to verify your request and may keep limited records where required for security, legal, or accounting reasons.

California and other US privacy rights

Where applicable US state privacy laws apply, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of certain personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing, targeted advertising, or sales. TelePRO does not sell personal information for money. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide required choices.

Children

TelePRO is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
